Product Portfolio Feeding Technology

Our feeding products (Feed Plate®, Feed Bead®, Feed Tubes® & specialty products) are supplied either as standard stock items or manufactured on request (on demand) according to customer specifications.

Standard products are generally available and are typically shipped within 1–2 weeks.

On-demand products are marked as such and are produced after your order. The typical lead time is approximately 6–8 weeks. The minimum order quantity is 10 Feed Plates® or 10 Feed Beads® (Feed Tubes®: 25 units).

In Kuhner Feed Tubes®, the polymer matrix is embedded at the bottom of the tubes.
Feed Tubes® are available exclusively on demand, with a minimum order quantity of 25 units. They can be manufactured with different release rates and customized to meet specific customer requirements.

Kuhner Feed Rings are available exclusively on demand. They are ring-shaped, polymer-based nutrient release elements developed specifically for fed-batch cultivation in 48-well plates in combination with the BioLector system. Their geometry enables continuous substrate release while fully maintaining compatibility with online monitoring.
